R&B Singer Arrested For Assaulting Mother

Popular R&B singer and one-time ‘Dancing With The Stars’ contestant, Mario, was jailed today for reportedly assaulting his mom, Shawntia Hardaway. According to Hardaway, Mario begin throwing things around in their apartment and then supposedly got rough with her.
Evidence at the scene backs up at least some of her story. When the police arrived, there was a broken mirror, a noticeably damaged china cabinet and closet door.
According to Hardaway (Mario’s mom), this is the second time this week, her son acted violently toward her. He allegedly pushed her into a wall in their living room. Mario was arrested and charge with 2nd degree assault, though not for the offense that occurred earlier in the week. He didn’t, however, stay behind bars for long. He would end up being released on bond.
